Technical Ordinance of OFCOM governing the application of ZertES. This ordinance defines which identification procedures are permissible for the issuance of qualified electronic signatures.

  • Baseline LoIP Level of Identity Proofing (LoIP) reaching a high level of confidence based on the fulfilment of general good-practice requirements for the identity proofing process and considered suitable for the trust services policies currently defined by ETSI standards.

  • Use Cases As defined in Chapter 9, the use cases specify the different identity proofing scenarios.

  • Important (Switzerland): In Switzerland, identification using an eID is not permitted for Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES). Background: Certain EU eIDs are subject to lower security standards and therefore do not meet the Swiss requirements for QES.
