Abort Reasons: Users can now select a reason for aborting from a predefined list. This option appears when clicking the "X" button in the header or after a scanning timeout following 10 unsuccessful attempts.

Features

Manage API Keys: Manage multiple API keys directly in the dashboard. This new feature allows generating multiple keys, including a new key with the "Report" role for enhanced functionality. Please note that the existing key restoration principle remains unchanged: if a new key is created for the same API user, the old key will be overwritten.

  • Improved error screen for unsupported browsers: If the browser used does not support WebAuthn, the user will be shown a message outlining the requirements for supported browsers.

  • Camera error: Resolved an issue that prevented the camera from activating.

  • Backlight check: A backlight check has been integrated into the liveness step to identify excessive contrast between the background and the face. Bright backgrounds can cause the face to appear too dark, making it difficult to recognize. This check prevents such images from proceeding. Users will now receive a notification stating "Background too bright" if this issue occurs.

  • Face comparison retry: A new condition has been added to automatically retry processes with a low face comparison score. Processes with insufficient face comparison scores are rejected by agents per regulations. This feature automates such rejections.

  • Wording improvements: Clearer and more consistent wording has been implemented across the entire process. Please note that any custom text adjustments remain unaffected by these updates.

  • Cancel Reason in dashboard: For blocked processes, the cancel reasons are now also displayed in the dashboard. For more details, refer to the Feature Preview under "Cancel Reason in Dashboard."

  • Welcome Screen The welcome screen has been added for all tenants who opted not to deactivate it. Further information about this feature can be found in the Feature Preview under "Welcome Screen."

Improvements and Bug Fixes

  • Incorrect nationality selection: Users will no longer encounter a loop when selecting the wrong nationality while using a passport in Simple Ident.

  • PDF names: PDFs to be signed that include parentheses "(" in their file names will no longer be blocked by our firewall, which previously caused a loop.

  • Agent review timer: A new timer in the Agent Review Dashboard displays the remaining time available for completing the review.

  • Signature Order reset: Clicking "Refresh" in the Signature Order now resets not only the session but the entire process to "Started," ensuring the 4-hour deadline restarts from the moment the new link is accessed.

  • Wording improvements: Clearer and more consistent wording has been implemented throughout the process. Please note that custom text adjustments remain unchanged.

  • Improved Smile Detection: The smile detection has been enhanced to ensure a smoother user experience.

  • Japanese documents: Fixed an issue where Japanese passports were being rejected in the QES process.

  • Improved MRZ reading: Enhanced the reading of challenging MRZs, such as those on Syrian passports.

  • Corrected preview images: Resolved a bug that caused the preview image of the passport to appear too large for certain nationalities.

  • Focus adjustment for certain devices: Adjusted the focus distance based on the document type and operating system to ensure sharp scanning. This issue primarily affected newer iOS devices.

  • Loop on incorrect nationality selection: Users no longer get stuck in a loop when selecting the wrong nationality in Simple Ident.

  • Output mapping: Resolved inconsistencies in the Customer Object output mapping that prevented customer data from being included before verification.

  • Lottie spinner size: Fixed an issue where the Lottie spinner appeared too large on desktops for some users.
